This is a great idea, and I'm glad it was implemented, but I feel like there should be an option to turn it off. Personally, I use LS primarily to block network connections on untrusted networks until I can connect to a trusted VPN. As such, my 'trusted' profile allows all connections silently.
This new feature forces upon me the connection alert dialogs that I don't want while on a trusted network. Especially considering all the alerts for code signature mismatches are from commandline utilities that I trust.

I’ve run into a problem with Little Snitch 4.0.5 blocking the app EtreCheck 2.0 because Little Snitch reports an invalid code signature for EtreCheck. I’ve talked to the EtreCheck developer at length and his code signature is current, issued by Apple, and is NOT invalid. In order to even register EtreCheck and activate it, I had to turn off network scanning completely. Once activated, there is no problem running the software with net scanning turned back on, but EtreCheck is still blocked from checking for its own updates. The problem seems to be in Objective’s court.
